Arunachalam

Arunachalam is also known as Annamalai. Famous for the ancient Siva temple and the mountain which is conceptualized as Siva itself. It was home for a number of famous sages like Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi.
Given picture is taken from infront of the cave, where Ramana Maharshi lived and meditated for around 17 years. It is is half way through the mountain top. Lot of known and unknown sages are living in the ashrams, on and around the mountain.

Varkala is well known for the ancient temple of Lord Janardhana Swami, Sivagiri Ashram and the papanasam beach.
The picture shows the main tower of JanardhanaSwami temple. Situated on a small hill top, the temple has a serene devotional atmosphere. The deity is as encouraging and pleased as anything.
The ancient Banyan tree is surely seen 15 to 20 generations before us. Since there is a ban for camera beyond the tower more pictures could not be taken.

Two weeks ago I had a quik visit to Vallikkavu, which is recently known as Amritapuri, after Amma or Sadguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi born and founded her ashram there.
I am not new to the place and had been there for almost 3 years as part of my MCA course. Still the view from the newly built bridge across the lake stunned me.
The place is such a wonderful piece of land, which can be called as the paradise on earth. Sky will often disguise here with different shades and differently shaped cllouds.

A place to start the Web2 journey

Thought of entering the blogging world.
Why did I start this???
To share ideas, discuss about the nonsense politics and silly movies??
No....
Just to ensure the travels I am making, are accounted some where..
Not a born-to-travel kind. But likes to travel.. likes to see places and masses..
